Embodiment Pt 2

The animal is a sensual being. It lives in a continuous now, experiencing the world through deep bodily presence.

When we come home to our bodies, we escape the jungle of the mind and root into the earth below and within us.

The effortless fecundity of earth breathes through us, gifting us the opportunity to align.

We come alive to our desires, hidden within our river veins and skin creases.

Following the scent of longing, we can track it from internal to external.

In body we find our deepest yearnings. But we must first find our way back to body.

How does an animal of the earth speak to you?

Can you allow their state of presence to inspire your return to the senses? Can you track a trail back to your own body, mirroring their naturally embodied movements?

Through movement, we return.

Our primal rhythm undulates through our being and picks up fragments of energy that desire expression.

Bodily wisdom begins to speak to us.

And then, bodily wisdom speaks through us.

We can arrive home by many avenues. Through dance, the breath, bodily touch, through any form of movement that your heart pulls you towards.

As you get to know what it feels like to be fully alive within your body, allow the body to learn too, what it is like to be fully alive.

Allow your breath to quicken, allow your limbs to move wildly, allow yourself to take on forms that have been suppressed. This creates a bridge for your emotion to flow downstream through your wondrous self, journeying towards the ecstasy of release.
